The Environmental Respect Awards was first introduced to Brazil in 2005, in an effort to recognize and promote environmentalism and the safe use of agricultural products throughout the Latin America region.
In Brazil, safety and respect for the land is a top priority. Because of this focus, in 2008, Brazil became it's own region in the Environmental Respect effort. Through the years, the country has hosted two Environmental Respect Award World Tours, and has lead the efforts in advocating environmental stewardship throughout the Latin America region.
The businesses that have participated in the program to date are shining examples of agriculture’s environmentalism and the dedication it takes to maintain a safe, healthy and prosperous world.
