One of the important objectives of the Environmental Respect Awards is to share the good news about agriculture's environmentalism across the world. In 2008, the very first Environmental Respect Award Ambassador of Respect was honored from Central Asia: Ifoda Company of Uzbekistan. Representatives from the company traveled to the U.S. where they participated in an agricultural stewardship tour and received their crystal trophy on Capitol Hill.
