"Agriculture is how we feed people, and, to ensure the longevity of a safe and secure food supply, we need to put the environment first," says Larry McKown, manager of Crop Production Services in Blissfield, Michigan. "We operate and conduct business in the environment in which we live. It is our duty and responsibility to protect it for ourselves, our community, and future generations."

Crop Production Services supports agricultural education by working with local schools, 4-H, and FFA (Future Farmers of America). In doing this, the company is able to raise awareness about what it as an agricultural chemical company does and how it helps to make the environment as healthy as it can be.

"By having a surplus of safeguards in place, the employees at Crop Production Services can be confident in their ability to protect the environment while, at the same time, helping growers yield large harvests," says McKown. "Through their work and care we can come to understand the place of agriculture and the need for environmental respect in today's world."
