The Environmental Respect Awards honored Roberto Herrera Cardenas and his team at
Pro-Agro as the Ambassador of Respect for Mexico in 2006. Now, the Environmental Respect Award U.S. National winners, Ted and Louanne Deerkop of The McGregor Company in Garfield, Washington will travel to Mexico to visit the team at Pro-Agro. During the trip, the Deerkops, along with K. Elliott Nowels of CropLife magazine, will visit with representatives of DuPont Mexico. They will also have the opportunity to tour a tomato production facility and a potato operation. Through this site, the team will share their experiences on agriculture in Mexico.
