2006 United States Winner Selection

A panel of industry experts gather each year to recognize achievement in environmental stewardship. The Environmental Respect Awards U.S. Winner Selection took place Thursday, May 4 in Willoughby, Ohio.
2006 Enviromental Respect Awards Judges Judges included:
  • Roger Rohrbough, DuPont Crop Protection, Wilmington, Del.
  • Tom Hall, CropLife America,
    Washington, D.C.
  • Ford West, The Fertilizer Institute, Washington, D.C.
  • Jack Eberspacher, Agricultural Retailers Association, Washington, D.C.
  • Doug Wendt, 2005 National Winner,
    The McGregor Company, Dayton, Wash.
  • J. Andy Ackley, 2005 Regional Winner,
    Royster-Clark, Inc., Melfa, Va.
  • Paul Schrimpf, CropLife magazine, Willoughby, Ohio.

    Each state winner will receive the distinctive Environmental Respect Award personalized crystal sculpture, a statewide press campaign geared toward select print and broadcast media, and a public relations kit.

    The winning agribusinesses also compete for regional Environmental Respect Awards. The regional winners will be announced in mid-May and will receive their trophies in Washington, D.C. during a special ceremony at the U.S. Capitol.
