Cecil Henderson had accepted an enormous challenge when he took on the position of branch manager at Premier Ag Co-op's Hope, IN location. Error and inefficiency had left the plant in need of updating, both physically and personnel-wise. Henderson initiatied many important upgrades, including color-coded piping to distinguish fertilizer grades, anhydrous tank security valve locks, proper diking for crop protection and fertilizer, and barbed-wire topped chain-link fencing to discourage intruders. Taking these and other measures has demonstrated to all Premier Ag employees that safety and environmental respect aren't just buzzwords -- it's expected every day from everyone.
