| Southern States Glasgow Co-op of Glasgow, KY, is one of 21 state winners of the 1999 Environmental Respect Awards. A panel of seven previous award winners and industry experts met to review the field of top entries from nearly 100 retail supply agribusinesses across the United States and chose Southern States Glasgow Co-op based on criteria that included proper site design, in-plant storage and handling procedures, proper application, leadership in environmentalism, overall safety and stewardship among farmer-customers and employees. | ||
