Cornhusker Ag Aviation - Grant, NE
Tucked away in the tiny plains town of Grant in southwest Nebraska, Cornhusker Ag Aviation is much more than you’d expect from a facility in such a remote location.
“Farmers and related ag businesses such as ours were probably some of the first environmentalists,” says Cathy Harden. “We have always tried to be good stewards of the land.”
Expansion involved the addition of new buildings. At the heart of the new construction is the crop protection storage building, which carries a wide range of products to meet the needs of a diverse range of crops. The bulk tanks are individually plumbed and numbered to avoid mixing and loading errors. Personal protective equipment is centrally stored for convenience. And all mini-bulk tanks are stored inside for added security.
“A positive attitude towards chemicals and agribusiness from the general public will help our industry, including our company, continue into the future to serve the needs of the farmers,” says Harden.
